Darfur: Quest for the Human Spirit - Explore.org
Darfur is home to the largest humanitarian crisis in the world. Yet, people in the small town of Gereida prevail with an undying spirit in the face of absolute desolation. Although many of those living in the community are isolated from the outside world, the people of Gereida have continued to be open and accepting toward visitors. The capacity of the people to survive abysmal health conditions is even more impressive considering the generosity of spirit by which they live.
