Father Romain Rurangirwa, a survivor of the genocide in Rwanda, explains Gacaca. In this process, which was implemented after the genocide and is based on the traditional Rwandan system of restorative justice, people gather in their villages to reconstruct what has happened and achieve reconciliation.
