This is President Obama's 2009 address to the UN on international priorities cooperation, development, and peace. He lays out four pillars on which international cooperation is critical: "non-proliferation and disarmament; the promotion of peace and security; the preservation of our planet; and a global economy that advances opportunity for all people.

Obama discusses threat of nuclear weapon and a vision for a world without them." He expresses support for peace in Sudan and the Middle East, including a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He calls on the international community to recognize the threat posed by climate and take action to reduce carbon emissions. Finally, he asserts the need for economic opportunity and aid for healthcare throughout the world.
