Max used to play football like anyone else, but things changed when he met Tim from A-STEP. Tim got him involved in playing football for more than just playing a game. Things truly started changing for Max when he went to the Internally Displaced People (IDP) camps to hold a match with members of some of the then rival tribes. He was saddened by what he saw, although he didn't immediately change his perception on other ethnic groups. With time, he learned to change his perception. With access to better equipment because of Nike he also started gaining respect in his community, who saw that the programme was important because of the new equipment. This Participatory Videos was made using the Most Significant Change (MSC) methodology for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating the Mercy Corps LEAP Sport programme.
